Quality & CQC

Quality & CQC

Care you can trust.

Warm, human care needs strong standards behind it.

At CM Community Care, quality, safety and continuous improvement are part of how we work every day, from the way we train and support our carers to how care is planned, reviewed and monitored.

Independently regulated

Quality you don’t have to take our word for.

CM Community Care is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

CQC assesses services against standards of safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership, providing independent evidence of the quality of regulated care.

Good across all five key questions

Quality in practice

Good care doesn’t happen by accident.

Quality isn’t something we think about only when an inspection takes place. It’s part of the everyday systems, conversations and decisions that sit behind the care we provide.

Our approach includes:

Quality assurance & auditing

Internal checks and audits help us monitor the quality and safety of care, identify areas for improvement and take action where needed.

Training & supervision

Our carers receive training and ongoing support to help them deliver the care expected of them safely, professionally and confidently.

Safeguarding

Clear safeguarding procedures help our teams recognise concerns, respond appropriately and put the safety and wellbeing of the people we support first.

Care planning & reviews

Care is planned around individual needs, routines and preferences, with support reviewed as circumstances change.

Continuity of care

Wherever possible, we provide familiar carers, helping trusted relationships develop and allowing our teams to better understand the people they support.

Learning & improvement

We review quality, feedback and relevant sector guidance to identify opportunities to learn and continually improve the way care is delivered.

Care beyond care

Standards matter. So does how care feels.

Policies, processes and audits are essential. But quality care is also something people experience.

It’s feeling safe with the person who comes through the door. Being listened to. Having your routines respected. Seeing familiar faces. Knowing someone has noticed when something has changed.

That’s why our approach to quality looks beyond whether a task has been completed. We want the people we support and their families to feel the difference too.

That’s Care beyond care.

Feedback & complaints

Your experience helps us improve.

We want to know when we’re getting things right, and when we could do better.

Feedback from the people we support, their families, our carers and the professionals we work alongside helps us understand what’s working and where improvements can be made.

If somebody has a concern or complaint, we want them to feel able to raise it. Our complaints process provides a clear route for concerns to be heard, reviewed and responded to appropriately.

Supporting our carers

Quality care starts with supported people.

We recruit people for their values and potential, then provide the training and ongoing support they need to develop their skills and deliver care with confidence.

Training, supervision and continued development help our teams understand their responsibilities, maintain high standards and provide support appropriate to the people in their care.
